Loamy sail
There are the deposits: Buyskoye, Vasyatinskoye, Sakharovskoye, Igumnovskoye, Kazarinskoye, Lesozavodskoye. The given raw material can be served for bricks and drains production ( diameter 50 x 70 millimetres). Specifically, for brick - red production. Some loamy soils are suitable for building bricks of "75", "100", "150" brand with using synthetic or natural dryer. The deposits: Vasyatinskoye, Kazarinskoye and Lesozavodskoye are not exploited.
Loams for clayite
On the territory of Buy dictrict there is only one deposit known at the moment - it is Ugolskoye deposit. the given deposit is situated between the village Dobretsovo and Ugolskoe 5 kms to the north - west from Buy/ Due to laboratory tests and under certain conditions the usefulness of loams for clayite gravel production is established.
Sandy - gravel mixtures
Mizrinskoye deposit of sandy - gravel material is situated 19 kms to the south - east from Buy and 100 kms form the village Mizrino. The deposit was explored in 1959.
Sandy deposits
There are 3 sandy deposits: Koryoga - Birzha, Sosnova Griva and Honka. Koryoga - Birzha was explored in 1985. It was cultivated by Buyskoe Road - Duilding - Administration for road purposes. The deposits Honka is situated on the right bank of the river Vyoksa on the outskirts of Buyski flax fartory's settlement. There is no information about the present state and its exploitation. The deposit Sosnova Griva is situated on the left bank of the river Kostroma 2,5 kms to the south - east form Buy.
Unindustrial deposits
A great number of uniundustrial deposits represented sand with some gravel, are the following : Anosovo, Sosnovskoye, Baranovskoye, Vasilyevskoye, Karpovskoye, Pochinok, Pustaya Shacha, Safonovskoye, Talitsa, but on the whole the sandy - gravel materials in our district are not widely spread. Coincided with Ozovo - Kamovo formations, they have a small scale, that`s why it is worth complex extracting of gravel and sand raw materials. On the whole our Buy district is perspective for all kinds of building materials - loams, sands and sandy - gravel materials.
